Feature & Follow Friday - Book Recommendation

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! This is a blog hop that allows bloggers to gain new followers and find some awesome new blogs to follow themselves!

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host has a blog that they feature each week!

So, if you're a blogger, come join in on the fun!

Here's today's question -

Bookselling Time: Pick a book in your favorite genre that you’d recommend to a reluctant reader .

I love paranormal and dystopian, so I think I would recommend The Hunger Games.  My husband doesn't read - ever - but I got him to listen to The Hunger Games series on audiobook and he loved it.

Great choice. I loved the Hunger Games! Not the other two in the series so much though. Old follower.
Have a great weekend!

I didn't love Catching Fire or Mockingjay as much as The Hunger Games, but I still loved the series overall.
Nice! Never did read this one! I'm picky when it comes to dystopians!

Here's my Follow Friday

I would definitely recommend it, but I'm sure you've heard that before. :-)

The Hunger Games was the book that started my love for reading! I couldn't put it down, I stayed up all night reading before I finished it then promptly fell asleep with a smile on my face.

Yep, it was that kind of book!
Awesome pick!!! I enjoyed Hunger Games a whole lot. Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting!!
I love Hunger Games, you should check out the book I put on my FF, its pretty similar to Hunger Games. Not sure if you've read it before. But if you haven't give it a try.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. It's kind of old news by now, but it was definitely the first book I thought of when I read the question.
YES! I don't think anyone can say no to that!

A lot of FF participants this week have been recommending THG. It's an excellent series indeed, movies included.

Thanks for sharing! Old bloglovin follower.

Yes, since the movies are really good it's even easier to get people to read the books!

The Hungergames is definitely one of my favorite dystopian books! I hear a lot of people say that they liked the sequels less. Especially the last book I hear all sorts of mixed things about. I liked all three of them very much though.

Yeah, I wasn't that happy with the last book, but I still loved the series overall.
