Feature & Follow Friday - Book Location I'd Like to Visit

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Gain new followers and make new friends with the Book Blogger Feature & Follow! This is a blog hop that allows bloggers to gain new followers and find some awesome new blogs to follow themselves!

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host has a blog that they feature each week!

So, if you're a blogger, come join in on the fun!

Here's today's question -

Question of the Week: Armchair Travel! Tell us about your favorite book in a setting you’d like to visit.

This one's hard for me because most of the books I can think of are either set in a relatively nondescript US location or in a fantasy world.  But I recently re-read Heidi with my daughter.  It's set in the Swiss Alps, and while I've been to the Alps once before (in Austria), I would definitely like to go again!  So beautiful!

Oh, and I just remembered that The Onslow Boys series by CJ Duggan takes place in Australia!  I so want to go there!!

Swiss Alps is one of those places where there are spectacular views everywhere you look. The mountain range is so serene. This would be a place I'd love to visit as well. ;)
I think I'd like the Swiss Alps but I think I'd like it anywhere. :P I just love the world!
Australia has been a dream of mine since I was a child. But for some reason I completely forgot about that until you mentioned it. I hope you get to go soon!

Australia would've been my second pick I think! I love Keri Arthur's books which tend to take place there! And Marianne Curley is one of my all time faves that I read when I was younger. Her books took place there and naturally she lives there! So I'd HAVE to meet her if I were to ever go there!

Here's my Follow Friday

Have a GREAT day!

Australia. Great pic! I hope to visit there someday soon when I have enough vacation time saved up at work to make a longer trip.

Thanks for stopping by Second Run Reviews earlier.

I've never been to the Alps! But I love the Rockies so I'm sure I'd love them as well ;)
Great post, and thanks for following me.
Following back :)
Nice choices and I can certainly say that you'd love Australia as it's where I live. :-)

London. That's where I want to go. I have wanted to go there for almost as long as I can remember. Now, if I had a time machine and could go back to Regency London where most of my Historical Romance books are set, that would be even better. I would love to wear there fancy dresses and go to their many balls and dance their fancy dances :)

Australia is definitely a place where I want to go! I have family there so it will be nice!

Also, Austria looks so stunning. It looks like one of those places where it is just a different world.

Thanks for stopping by my FF & thanks for sharing! xxx
