Cover Characteristics - Short Hair

This is a new meme hosted by Sugar & Snark. It came about when Sugar was wondering which cover to use for her #70 Cover of the Week post. Sugar kept on thinking of more than one, and they all seemed to have a theme/characteristic. So she decided to switch things up a bit!
Each week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite cover’s with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5 favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in Linky (so we can visit).
You don’t even need to participate, just stopping by and saying hi would be great! Don’t forget to stop by the other participants!

Today’s cover characteristic: Short Hair

I decided to try to find girls with short hair for this one since guys with short hair aren't really all that unique.  It was actually harder than I thought to find covers with women with short hair on them.  All of the cover images feature girls with long flowing locks!  :-)  So, I had to use both my Read list and my TBR list for this one.

And my favorite:

MILA 2.0 wasn't my favorite book (not horrible, but not fantastic either), but I really love the cover!!

My favorite cover out of those is Mila 2.0, but my favorite hair is on Lola and the Boy Next Door!
I love Lola's purple hair too, but I think my favorite cover is What's Left of Me.

I haven't read any of the books you listed. Any recommendations?

I agree that What's Left of Me is an awesome cover - It was close for me between that one and MILA 2.0. Most of this week's books came off of my TBR list instead of my Read list (like I said, I actually had trouble finding covers with women with short hair), so the only ones I've read are MILA 2.0 and Lola and the Boy Next Door. I can't really recommend MILA all that much (though some people really enjoyed it - it's about a girl who finds out she's an android rather than a human). I enjoyed Lola and the Boy Next Door, but you should definitely read Anna and the French Kiss first (Lola is not exactly a sequel, it's a companion novel and it contains characters from Anna). If you enjoy contemporary romance at all, then you'll probably LOVE Anna and the French Kiss - fantastic book!
