Cover Characteristics - Colorful

This is a new meme hosted by Sugar & Snark. It came about when Sugar was wondering which cover to use for her #70 Cover of the Week post. Sugar kept on thinking of more than one, and they all seemed to have a theme/characteristic. So she decided to switch things up a bit!

Each week we will post a characteristic and choose 5 of our favorite cover’s with that characteristic. If you want to join in and share your 5 favorite covers with the weeks particular characteristic, then just make a post, grab the meme picture (or make your own) and leave your URL in Linky (so we can visit).

You don’t even need to participate, just stopping by and saying hi would be great! Don’t forget to stop by the other participants!

I also love Across the Universe. I love the purplish/pinkish theme and there's a really creative use of space.

Across the Universe has such a pretty cover. So does Shaman's Crossing, so lovely!

I love Shaman's Crossing and Colour Wielders! Did you enjoy the stories? ;) Also, what part of the html of your 2013 reading challenge widget did you alter to make the text smaller? If you see on my blog, the text is big and I want it to be smaller so it can be easier to read. :) Thanks for checking out my CC!

Hmmm... The text on your Challenge badge looks the same as mine. Did you maybe change it since you wrote this comment?

I really loved both Shaman's Crossing and Colour Wielders. Robin Hobb is my favorite fantasy author - I pretty much love all of her books! I read that one pre-blog and didn't review it, but you can read my review of Colour Wielders HERE.

Colour Wielders looks great! Your review has definitely intrigued me, I'll have to see if my library has it! I have to check out some of the books you featured too, I'm a huge fan of Robin Hobb as well but have only read The Liveship Traders trilogy so far.

Oh, there are LOTS more Robin Hobb books that all take place in the same world as the Liveship Traders. Check out my review of Blood of Dragons HERE and you'll see a list of all of her series that take place in this world!

I loved the cover of Across the Universe as well, but found the story unfortunately not great. I had such high hopes for this one... :p
